Avian Diseases

Avian Diseases (ISSN 0005-2086) is the official publication of the American Association of Avian Pathologists. It is published four times a year and contains full papers, research notes and case reports related to the field of avian diseases. Though most papers focus on diseases of poultry, papers on diseases of pet and wild birds are also included.

Manuscripts should be submitted on-line at the website: http://aviandiseases.allentrack.net. Directions for submitting manuscripts are available on the site. All text must be double-spaced. All manuscripts are reviewed by one or more members of the Editorial Board or other persons selected by the editor. A page charge for each printed page or part thereof is assessed on each article appearing in Avian Diseases. The page charge is $67 for current AAAP members and $100 for non-AAAP members. Under special circumstances, page charges may be waived by the AAAP. Requests for a waiver may be made by providing detailed explanation in the cover letter that accompanies the submitted manuscript. Authors are responsible for the cost of color illustrations.
